Dialog Q4 soaring on mobile sales
This contrasts with sales of between $270 million and $295 million forecast by Dialog on October 29, 2013 when the company announced its third quarter financial results. The latest guidance is the second upgrade in the quarter and Dialog said it was driven by stronger than anticipated demand for mobile chips during December.
$352 million represents a 31 percent year-on-year Q4 growth with full year revenue now expected to be approximately $910 million, up 18 percent on full year 2012, the company said. It added that it expects to add about $29 million to its cash resources in the fourth quarter and to have a cash balance as of Dec. 31, 2013 of about $186 million.
Dialog will publish full and audited results for the year ended 31 December 2013 on Thursday, 20 February 2014.
