The AS6200 consists of a silicon bandgap temperature sensor, an ADC and a digital signal processor. It has a temperature accuracy of ±0.4°C and is suitable for mobile and battery powered applications.

The sensor is factory calibrated and includes integrated linearization and the possibility to use two I2C addresses, enabling the use of two AS6200 devices on one bus.

Additionally the AS6200 temperature sensor system also features an alert functionality, which triggers events such as an interrupt to protect devices from excessive temperatures.

The AS6200 digital temperature sensor comes in a 1.6mm by 1mm package and is available immediately for production with unit pricing of €0.49 in order quantities of 1,000.
