Digitally controlled 1/8th brick isolated power module supplies 450W
The FPED48T01238 module is offered in DOSA standard 1/8th Brick footprint of 58.4 x 22.8mm (2.3” x 0.9”) in through-hole package. This is targeted toward high-end computing, data communications, and industrial applications where board space, cost, efficiency, and reliable operation in elevated temperature environments are critical.
The module is fully digital controlled and uses PMBus communication with output overcurrent/voltage protection, over-temperature protection, remote ON/OFF and output voltage margin control.
“The module gives customers the ability of space saving by replacing from 1/4th Brick and various control and monitor capabilities by using PMBus,” said Hitoshi Matsushima, chief technical officer at FDK. “FDK will continue to add the high power products to its isolated power module product line.”
The module is RoHS II compliant.
