The PCIe-9842 uses the PCI Express x4 interface to meet the needs of applications that require data to be acquired and transferred in real time. As the signal passes through the ADC stage it is transferred directly and continuously at a sustained 400Mbyte/s.
With 11.3 effective number of bits (ENOB) and a 70dB SNR, an input frequency of 10MHz sine wave is achieved.
Adlink offers legacy C++ and Visual Basic drivers for the device, as well as a task-oriented driver (DAQPilot) and virtual instruments for the Labview environment.
