As the central power supply unit, the REDIN/3AC series are designed for high levels of stability in harsh automation environments and will still continue to operate reliably from mains voltages of 320Vac up to 575Vac even when one phase fails.

The series delivers 120W, 240W, 480W or 960W at a stable 24V output voltage (trimmable from 22.5 – 29.5VDC) with only 40mV ripple. For power-hungry applications and redundancy purposes, the units can be connected in parallel with no need for additional components due to their built-in droop mode regulation with current limitation to guarantee equal load distribution. These intrinsically-safe PSUs are protected against overload with a power feedback function at overtemperature. The regulated power limitation also allows a stable startup of non-linear loads.

The modules are certified to IEC/UL508 Standard for Industrial Control Equipment and EN/IEC/UL60950 for worldwide usage and come with a 5-year warranty. Samples are available from all authorized distributors.
