Displays integrate Android 13 on Raspberry Pi module

FORTEC Integrated in Germany has developed a series of panel PC touch displays with the Android 13 operating system.
The POS-IQ-PRO panel PCs from Distec were developed with Android specialist emteria and range from 10.1 to 15.6″ with the Intel Pentium N4200 processor or the POS-RP-PRO series with the company’s in-house developed Artista-IoT TFT controller board. These are base don the Raspberry Pi CM3+ and CM4 Compute Modules.
The panel PCs have a 10-finger PCAP touchscreen for user-friendly operation and a slim, durable stainless-steel housing with front IP65 protection against dust and water. Passive cooling ensures optimal system performance even in high ambient temperatures for applications in machine controls, HMIs, and medical technology.
The Android 13 support includes regular updates, customization, and remote management capabilities.

Having Android 13 running on either the Intel 4200 or Raspberry Pi CM4 module provides extensive design options, allowing users to tailor the user interface, boot animations, and colour schemes to specific brand specifications. CI/CD software development pipelines facilitate automatic OS updates and the distribution of system and app changes through over-the-air (OTA) updates.
It also includes a kiosk mode for authorization management, easy remote access through Mobile Device Management (MDM), streamlined app management, and screen mirroring for real-time monitoring of remote device screens. Extended long-term support and regular security updates contribute to the ongoing safety and reliability of the Android devices.
VESA mounting holes allow flexible installation options, including swivel arms or monitor bases, and optional wall installation frames facilitate integration into various constructions like concrete, wood, or drywall.
