The CMD233 is a GaAs MMIC distributed low noise amplifier that offers wide bandwidth, single positive supply voltage, low noise figure, and small die size. It is ideally suited for military, space, and communications systems that need a small size and low noise figure over a wide bandwidth. The device operates from a +3 to +6 V supply. At 10 GHz, it delivers greater than 9 dB of gain with a corresponding noise figure of 4.5 dB and an output 1dB compression point of +20.5 dBm.

The amplifier is a 50 ohm matched design, which eliminates the need for external DC blocks and RF port matching, and it offers full passivation for increased reliability and moisture protection.

Applications for the CMD233 include military electronic warfare, wideband communication systems and test instrumentation. This MMIC amplifier is a CMM4000 replacement (pin compatible and performance compatible).
