Distributor grows own-brand presence with “everyday” MLCCs
RS Components’ RS brand Multi-Layer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCCs) provide customers with a reduced-cost option on general-purpose capacitor parts ready for automatic pick-and-placement. Targeting a broad range of applications, these low-inductance capacitors are also suitable for high-frequency applications.
The compact RS MLCC series is available in the 0603 (1.6 x 0.8 x 0.8mm) size and features a wide capacitance range from 1000 pF to 10,000 pF (1 to 10nF), including 1000, 2200, 4700, 6800 and 10,000 pF devices and a choice of voltage ratings of 16, 50 or 100V. Devices in the range also come in the 0402 (1 x 0.5 x 0.5mm) size, with voltage ratings of 16 and 50V.
Most devices in the range feature a EIA Class 2 temperature-stable X7R dielectric, operating across the −55 to +125°C temperature range with capacitance tolerances of ±15%, and are ideal for decoupling applications. Other options in the range use EIA Class 1 temperature-compensating C0G (NP0) materials.
The range conforms to EIAJ RC3402 and is also compatible with EIA RS198 and IEC PUB. 384-10 standards.
