Being ZMDI’s second line-power LED driver, the ZSLS7031 complements the advantages of the company’s earlier ZLED7001 product by adding isolated and new non-isolated applications. The device works at a constant frequency in discontinuous conduction mode to provide constant power to the output. It eliminates the need for an opto-coupler or any other type of secondary-side feedback and operates from a wide input voltage range of 85VAC to 265VAC.

Other features include a power factor correction to more than 0.95 and a wide operating temperature range from 45°C to +105°C. The device is equipped with internal over-temperature, over-voltage and primary side open connection protection

The ZSLS7031 is in full production and supplied in a RoHS-compliant MSOP8 package. Samples and kits are available upon request from ZMDI or through one of its distribution partners.
