Besides offering enhanced Autosar-compliant software modeling and significantly faster runtime environment (RTE) code generation, the support for Autosar 3.2 is seamlessly integrated into SystemDesk. The improved container management for the exchange of software components intensifies the dovetail connection between SystemDesk and TargetLink. Thus, an embracing process for system architectures and function developers has been established.
By means of a smart re-import algorithm, SystemDesk facilitates data exchange between automotive OEM and its suppliers. This algorithm supports various data exchange and support scenarios. New handling options such as diagram import and export as well as identification of non-referenced Autosar elements facilitate handling of complex projects.
Virtual ECUs in closed-loop scenarios can be connected in a separate editor with Simulink route models for testing purposes. What’s more, within the scope of offline simulation the test code coverage can be checked.
For the software, dSpace has set up a new license model which simplifies the configuration of a dSpace tool chain for the generation and simulation of virtual ECU.
