Nisshinbo Micro Devices has developed a dual channel operational amplifier with a low noise level and THD for improved audio performance.

The Nisshinbo MUSES8920A dual channel op amp uses a JFET input stage to provide improved low-noise performance and audio quality for high-end home audio, professional studio equipment, car audio systems, and portable audio devices.

High performance op amp for automotive and energy designs

The low noise level of just 8.0 nV/√Hz at 1 kHz provides clarity in sound reproduction while the total harmonic distortion (THD) of 0.0004% at 1 kHz provides more audio purity. A slew rate of 25 V/µs guarantees precise reproduction of high-speed signals.

The bipolar device operates within a voltage range of ±3.5 V to ±17 V, offering flexibility for various audio setups alongside a low input bias current of 5pA.

Ultra low current op amp for battery designs, automotive

The MUSES8920AE dual channel audio op amp is available in a SOP8 JEDEC 150mil (EMP8) package measuring 5.0 x 6.0 x 1.5 mm while the MUSES8920AKX7 is in a DFN8-X7 (ESON8-X7) package measuring 4.0 x 3.5 x 0.7 mm for more space constrained applications.

Nisshinbo Micro Devices is one of the leading global suppliers of advanced analogue products with a range of ICs for Power Management, Supervisory, Operational Amplifiers, Battery Management, RF, Audio & Video, Optoelectronic devices and motor drivers.
