Dual supply configuration 10-kW high voltage power supplies focus on electron beam systems
In order to achieve high stability and low ripple across a wide range of output voltages, the OLH10KD has a dual supply configuration, the high power 10 kW supply being combined with a low power 1 kW supply in the same converter chassis. The output from the low power supply is coupled into the HV unit (with modular disc construction) so that either can be used.
The reliable, single output systems are mains powered and there are three different input voltage variants available to order: the OLH10KD (208 VAC), the OLH10KDC (380 VAC) and the OLH10KDE (400 VAC). All provide a range of maximum output voltages from 60 kV to 300 kV and 10 kW output power.
Numerous features are incorporated to ensure system integrity is maintained during adverse operating conditions, including HiTek Power’s Arc Count & Extinguish (ACE) system for managing systems where arcing at the load is endemic.
