DVCon Europe 2023 announces keynote speakers from AMD, SiPearl
The 10th Design and Verification Conference in Europe (DVCon Europe) will see keynote sessions from AMD and European supercomputer chip developer SiPearl.
Philippe Notton, CEO of SiPearl, will be discussing “Energy-efficient High-Performance Compute at the Heart of Europe” while Michaela Blott from AMD Research will be looking at “Pervasive and Sustainable AI with Adaptive Computing.”
- DVcon Europe 2023 looks to digital twins, security
- Learning lessons for verification from the software industry
DVCon Europe 2023 brings together the chip industry in Munich on 14th and 15th November with industry speakers at the forefront of cutting-edge technology.
A Reusable Verification Environment for a RISC-V Vector Accelerator
Philippe Notton is the CEO and founder of SiPearl, the French company building the world’s first energy-efficient HPC-dedicated microprocessor designed to work with any third-party accelerator, whether that is a GPU, artificial intelligence or quantum chip.
He has worked in France, the UK, and the US for market-leading groups (Thomson, Canal+, LSI Logic, STMicroelectronics, Atos), as well as a successful startup (MStar Semiconductor, sold to MediaTek in 2012 for US$4bn).
Michaela Blott is a Senior Fellow at AMD Research. She heads a team of international scientists driving exciting research in computer architectures for AI, green AI, and agile compiler stacks.
She earned a PhD from Trinity College Dublin and her Master’s degree from the University of Kaiserslautern, Germany, and brings over 25 years of experience in leading-edge computer architecture and advanced FPGA and board design, in research institutions (ETH Zurich and Bell Labs) and development organizations. She is highly active in the research community as an industrial advisor to numerous EU projects and research centres, serves on technical program committees, and received a number of Women in Tech Awards.
