Dymax’ BlueWave LED DX-1000 is the company’s first product that utilizes UV LEDs to illuminate the material. The LED is radiating in the 385nm ultraviolet range and generates a light intensity of up to 1000mW/cm2. With this intensity, it is possible to reliably cure small areas, the vendor said. By means of a readily available light pipe, the device can be turned into a spot light, providing light intensities of up to 15.000 mW/cm2. The LED is responsible for the product’s long service life, its low energy consumption and maintenance-free operation. All these properties combines translate into low total cost of ownership, the vendor said.

The tool will be on display at the Dymax booth at the Productronica. Hall A4, booth 423. For more information, visit www.dymax.com
