Educational robot that can be programmed using TI graphic calculators

The Rover uses the TI-Innovator Hub to connect to the either of the TI-84 Plus CE-T or TI-Nspire CX graphing calculators to allow students without coding experience to write simple programmes to control the robot. The TI-Innovator Rover is intended to allow the students to put theoretical maths and science information to practical use and provide a route to more advanced projects.

 

The Rover kit includes a rechargeable battery, colour sensor, distance sensor, LED display, gyroscope and marker holder.

 

TI also announced a low-cost Robotics System Learning Kit (TI-RSLK) for university students along with a classroom curriculum to provide students with a deeper understanding of electronics.
