eeNews Europe reader receives the MS2711E SpectrumMaster from Anritsu
On the 4th of July 2014, Yotavis’ CEO Mr. Stefan Junker handed the unit personally to Dr. Tasselli, working at one of the research labs at EPFL Neuchâtel. He was very pleased about this generous gift (worth well over 5,000 euros). The spectrum analyzer is indeed very welcomed in the DroneVision project to optimize telemetry in wireless links.

DroneVision is a project for students in the wireless communication course at EPFL. It aims to develop a low cost telemetry for quad copters. The wireless link at 434MHz and 2.4GHz allows HD video transmission.
The quad copter will be used to monitor children going to school in groups, the so called “piedi bus” as well as to monitor forest fires during summer in the south Mediterranean areas. The on-field test is an important part of the prototype development and the handheld spectrum analyzer is a key instrument.
Yotavis AG is the sole authorized Distributor of Anritsu in Switzerland.
