Efficient, pleasant light for street lighting applications
The Xitanium driver family has been tailored for the Fortimo LLM system. It features digital light control for Constant Light Output, maintaining the intensity of the light at the same level throughout the entire operating life. Thus, the minimum light intensity never falls below the value specified for the respective application. For this reason, there is no longer the need of overdimensioning the installations. This alone saves 15 percent in energy and material costs, the vendor argues. In addition, the Xitanium drivers are designed to accommodate tele management systems, which again increases lighting comfort and offers further cost reductions.
Fortimo LLM systems are available as units with a luminous fluxes of 1100lm, 1800lm, 3000lm and 4500lm and light colors of 3000K (warm white) and 4000K (neutral white). In all cases, the color rendering index (CRI) is higher than 70.
