Primarily targeted at applications such as infotainment and electronic control units (ECUs) in automotive applications and a variety of shielded enclosures in aerospace designs, overmoulded Premier parts can incorporate fixings such as metal inserts to help simplify and speed assembly.

Premier PEI-140 maintains high temperature tolerance, chemical resistance and UL 94V-0 flammability rating to provide a cost-effective electronics shielding solution up to 85dB. The material can be injection moulded and is an amorphous thermoplastic reinforced with matrix of proprietary conductive fillers to provide EMI shielding. Parts made using Premier PEI-140 are suitable for use at temperatures up to 170°C.
