The government of Karnataka has announced stricter social measures that are intended to try and contain the worsening Covid-19 pandemic situation in India.

Incap has responded to stricter measures by announcing a close down from May 10 to May 24, 2021.

“Incap is fully committed to support the local government in its actions to contain the virus and continues also the vaccination program for its employees. Our priority is to protect the health and safety of our employees and we will do our best to limit the impact this temporary closure may have on our customer deliveries,” said Otto Pukk, CEO of Incap, in a statement.

The statement added that the factory closures are not expected to impact the 2021 outlook for the company published on 21 April 2021. Incap maintains the view that its revenue and operating profits in 2021 will be higher than in 2020.
