Energy consumption analysis tool gets a major software update

Otii Version 2.0.0 supports the Otii Arc energy consumption analysis hardware and includes improved battery simulation, visualisation of GPIO and SENSE pins, and alerts for common hardware errors, along with UI improvements. Data export features have been improved, adding more resolution to the value of the timestamps applied to the data captured.

The Otii platform also supports scripts written in Lua to provide a simple way to get the most out of the Arc hardware. New Lua scripting functions have been added to the latest software release to provide improved battery simulation, for example.

The latest version of the desktop software is released alongside version 1.0.8 of the firmware for the Arc hardware. The UI now displays the current versions of the hardware and firmware, as well as providing alerts for available updates. The Otii hardware is available from Digi-Key.
