Elma’s system is based around COM Express and mini PCIe form factors – industry standard, modular components that are simple to configure and upgrade to suit each particular application with tailored I/O, storage and CPU options.

The ComSys-5301 is designed to provide reliable performance in the toughest environments over the long term. During the design of the module, careful attention was paid to SWaP optimisation to ensure the end product was light, small and energy efficient, while still being able to offer a high level of performance. Passive conduction cooling is used to keep the electronics, which include a 4th Gen Intel Celeron CPU and solid state hard drive, within optimal temperatures. The device weighs only 6lbs and offers flexible I/O options, including dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, and MIL-38999 connectors for rugged connectivity.
