The popular PicoScope 3000E Series from Pico Technology has added new entry-level mixed-signal oscilloscopes (MSOs) featuring four analogue channels and bandwidth options of 100 MHz and 200 MHz.

The MSOs are designed for engineers, educators and embedded system developers. They lower the barrier to entry to obtaining the advanced capabilities at an accessible price point.

Based on the previously launched 350 MHz and 500 MHz oscilloscopes, these latest 100 MHz and 200 MHz MSOs are ideal for applications that demand precision and flexibility without the cost of higher-end instruments. With deep memory, cross-platform software, and optional digital inputs, they are well-suited for mixed-signal testing and debugging.

The USB-powered oscilloscopes, available in 100 MHz and 200 MHz bandwidth options, feature a 5 GS/s sampling rate and 10-bit resolution, allowing for accurate signal capture with minimal noise. A 2 GS ultra-deep memory and segmented acquisition captures long or repetitive events with detail and speeds up to 2 million waveforms per second.

Four analogue channels and 16 optional digital inputs provide the flexibility to simultaneously analyse both analogue and digital signals, making the MSOs ideal for working with microcontrollers, FPGAs and other mixed-signal systems.

For embedded development, over 40 serial protocol decoders are included as standard, including I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and USB.
The MSOs also feature a 200 MS/s, 14-bit AWG/function generator and fast USB 3.0 Type-C interface that does not require an additional power source.

Advanced triggering, math, and measurements include tools such as DeepMeasure, automated pass/fail testing, waveform masks, and more.

Intuitive PicoScope 7 software operates on Windows, macOS, and Linux, while the PicoSDK allows developers to incorporate the oscilloscope into custom Windows, macOS, and Linux applications.
