EPC picks Spirit as GaN defence and aerospace distributor
Spirit was founded by a Native American woman and is now run by a female USAF veteran, Marti McCurdy. It provides distribution support to assist customers in adopting eGaN FETs and ICs for high performance power conversion systems.
Based in Phoenix, Arizona and Irvine, California, it supplies products and services to the US Department of Defense, aerospace, and telecommunication industries.
“Spirit Electronics’ knowledge of the market, along with their extensive history and proven successful track record for working with defense and aerospace customers make them a perfect partner for representing EPC’s industry-leading, off-the-shelf eGaN FET and IC product line,” said Nick Cataldo, EPC vice president of sales and marketing.
“Our new partnership with EPC is an exciting addition to our portfolio of products and will allow us to bring the superior performance of eGaN power transistors and ICs to defense and aerospace customers, so they can design leading edge power system solutions,” said McCurdy, CEO of Spirit.
