EuropaSat and SES Broadband Services partner on satellite service over Europe
EuropaSat, which has already begun marketing the new packages, will offer a full range of ground based services for customers wanting fast broadband within the SES Broadband Services Ka-band footprint. These include online ordering, pre- and post-sales support, logistics and maintenance, all directly via the EuropaSat.com website, and through its channel of 300 resellers and marketing partners. SES Broadband Services will in turn deliver all the space, network and hub operations for the services.
EuropaSat focuses on independence and impartiality in the satellite broadband market, offering up to 20 Mbps broadband to homes and businesses that cannot access high speed internet via traditional wired networks, through a variety of satellite based alternatives.
The brand, which is a part of global satellite business Satellite Solutions Worldwide Ltd, is currently integrating the SES Broadband portfolio and within weeks will offer secure, online, real-time provisioning for both customers and resellers, something unique in the current market.
EuropaSat is based in Bicester, Oxfordshire, UK, from where it will offer demonstrations (try-before-you-buy), sales, as well as technical and customer services for the full SES Broadband portfolio.
