Eurotech teams for industrial IoT software
Italian IoT systems specialist Eurotech has teamed up with software provider Exosite to simplify industrial IoT adoption from edge to cloud.
Eurotech’s edge hardware and Exosite’s industrial condition monitoring platform will integrate to enable easy-to-deploy condition monitoring for industries with high value assets, equipment, sensors, and machines
Exosite’s no-code ExoSense condition monitoring application allows manufacturers, system integrators, and distributors to quickly build and deploy connected products or add software to existing IIoT offerings. This uses a platform called Murano that includes a marketplace with off-the-shelf elements and vertically integrated bundles to accelerate connected-product development.
Eurotech provides a flexible and modular range of IoT components: rugged, certified Industrial IoT Gateways and edge computers enhanced with its ESF IoT Edge Framework. This provides edge computing capabilities like filtering, aggregation and analysis of specific data coming from IoT devices, and provides a wide set of field protocol libraries including Modbus, OPC-UA and S7 to allow maximum integrability and flexibility of gateways to interface with sensors and other devices. Another feature allows the building of data pipelines for the visual programming of IoT and edge computing applications.
“By combining Eurotech’s and Exosite’s technologies, we can offer our customers an integrated IoT solution that can be set up in minutes, and can scale to a large production deployment with multiple connectivity options at the edge and advanced applications at the cloud level” said Dean Lazzara, Eurotech’s Senior Director of Marketing. “The solution is built upon IoT building blocks providing cutting-edge security features to enable robust, reliable and secure applications meeting the required certifications”.
“We are excited to collaborate with Eurotech on an end-to-end IoT solution bundle,” said Steve VanderSanden, COO of Exosite, which has offices in the US and Taiwan. “Individually, we are both focused on providing our customers with no-coding solutions to get up and running fast. Together, we’ll be able to help customers quickly deploy complete connected solutions that can add value from day one and scale to meet their needs at day 1,000 and beyond.”
