MAX 10 FPGAs are a new format in non-volatile FPGAs that integrate within a small-form factor device, dual-configuration flash, analogue blocks, memory, DSP and embedded processing capabilities. Full specifications for the BeMicro Max 10 are available at www.arrow.com/bemicro – it includes 8 MB SDRAM, accelerometer, digital-to-analogue converter (DAC), temperature sensor, thermal resistor, photo resistor, LEDs, pushbuttons and several different options for expansion connectivity. It embeds USB-Blaster for use with the Quartus II Programmer; and its expansion headers include two 6-pin PMOD, two 40-pin prototyping headers, one 6-pin analogue input header and one 80-pin BeMicro card edge connector.

The BeMicro Max 10 was developed by Arrow’s engineers for customers seeking a low-cost method to test the Altera MAX 10 FPGA product family, particularly in applications that require instant-on functionality and the performance and flexibility of an FPGA. Developers of automotive, industrial and communication electronics are potential users of the evaluation board.
