Excelfore and HELLA will demonstrate an automotive, bi-directional OTA pipeline at CES
The CES demonstrations are intended to show how the eSync OTA can enable automotive manufacturers to take advantage of new innovation and deliver updates in the field. To provide a platform for the demonstration, a representative vehicle network has been designed that features fully functional HELLA body control and trailer modules. The eSync OTA system will push diagnostics data between the cloud and individual vehicle ECUs, which will track and analyse the characteristics of the system and look for potential issues. The same system can then remotely update the software to solve these issues before they become a problem. Another benefit of the system is that it will allow automotive manufacturers to provide customer access to premium features and upgrades.
