
Executives from Infineon, NXP join Dolphin’s board
Semiconductor IP licensor Dolphin Semiconductor SAS (Meylan, France) has appointed former senior Infineon executive Robert LeFort as chair and Shelly Van Dyke, a senior executive at NXP, as an independent director.
LeFort retired as President of Infineon Technologies North America in July 2023. He had led Infineon Americias from January 2015 after the in acquisition of power chip maker International Rectifier. LeFort also led the integration of Cypress Semiconductor within Infineon, a deal that closed in April 2020.
Shelly Van Dyke is vice president of strategy for analog, automotive and embedded systems at NXP Semiconductors. Van Dyke also has experience of mergers and acquisitions, said Dolphin.
The appointments of LeFort and Van Dyke follow that of Claude Jean, senior vice president of Teledyne Imaging, as an independent director in December 2024.
Dolphin specializes in mixed-signal IP design targeting such markets as industrial, high-performance computing, consumer electronics, IoT and automotive.
The other three Dolphin board members are Pierre Garnier, Maxime Mallet and Clement Bourgogne all of Jolt Capital, a Paris-based venture capital company with a North Americas headquarters in Montreal, Canada.
