The TLP104 features an inverter logic, open collector output and supports requirements for high-speed operation thanks to a design that optically couples GaAlAs LEDs with high-speed, high-gain photodetectors. This ensures maximum propagation delay times down to just 400ns. In addition, as the maximum switching time dispersion is only 400ns, the new TLP104 is suitable for the control of Intelligent Power Modules (IPMs). The 7.0×3.7×2.2mm device supports output voltages from -0.5 to 30V. An internal Faraday shield guarantees a minimum common mode transient immunity of ±15kV/µs.
