Using dual-head 1080p graphics and drawing as little as 4W power the units are suitable for graphic-rich applications such as thin clients, IPTV, infotainment systems and digital signage. Two versions of Utilite are available. Utilite Pro has a 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU and SATA 32 GB solid state drive, while Utilite Standard has a dual-core 1 GHz CPU and Micro-SD 8 GB storage.
The two versions are otherwise identical. Utilite comes with 2GB DDR-3-1066 memory and can incorporate an internal mSATA SSD module of up to 512GB. The front-panel microSD socket supports SDXC up to 128GB. HDMI 1.4 and DVI-D ports are provided; both support up to 1920 x 1200 resolution and can operate in dual-head mode. 5.1 channel audio is available through HDMI and S/PDIF and standard 3.5mm jacks are provided for stereo line-out and line-in.
Utilite supports networking and I/O with two Gigabit Ethernet ports, as well as built-in 802.11n WiFi and Bluetooth modules. Also included are four USB 2.0 ports, a micro-USB OTG connector and a mini connector for RS232. Utilite draws its power from an unregulated 10 to 16V power supply.
