The unit’s D525 Dual Core 1.8GHz processor combined with a ICH8M chipset boasts 50% better performance than the previous generation of Atom N270 CPU, with only a small increase in power consumption. Housed in a rugged aluminum chassis, the NISE 2100A will operate in a wide range of temperatures, from -20 to 70°C, capable of offering reliable and noiseless performance in the severe environmental conditions usually associated with factory automation, industrial automation or transportation automation. Other features include a DDR3 SO-DIMM socket, a DDR3 800 2G memory module support, Dual Intel 1000/ 100/ 10 Mbps LAN ports, four USB2.0 ports and 1x VGA connector, one DB15 GPIO connector, four RS232 and two RS232/ 422/ 485 with auto flow control. An external CF socket and one external SIM card holder complete the unit which operates with a 9 to 36V DC input.
