Fast turnaround sourcing of configurable power supplies from distribution
Arrow can therefore offer configured power supplies from Artesyn’s MP, iMP and low profile (1U) MicroMP (uMP) ranges. These are power supply series that are not (in general) user-configurable but use a modular/configurable architecture to enable the manufacturer to quickly produce units from a very large number of possible variants. Small batches of up to ten units can be produced in as little as 48 hours, Arrow says. In addition to the configuration line, Arrow has installed equipment for surge and EMI testing as well as an environmental chamber that operates from -70 to +100C. These all utilise Artesyn’s test procedures and parameters.
