First sub-GHz WiFi certified HaLoW gateway for the IoT
The first globally available WiFi Certified HaLow IoT gateway has shipped using the system on chip developed by Morse Micro.
The 9 x 11.5cm gateway developed by AsiaRF in Taiwan supports the IEEE 802.11ah Wi-Fi HaLow standard for low power, long range connectivity for IoT networks operating below 1GHz as well as WiFi4, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Zigbee via a Mediatek MT7688 chipset.
The sub-GHz connectivity from the Morse Micro MM6108 system on chip gives the AsiaRF IoT gateway expanded range of up to 1km and optimized power efficiency.
