Frank Tillner new COO at Osram Opto Semiconductors

Effective October 1, Tillner has taken the responsibility for Osram Opto Semiconductor’s chip and LED production plants in Regensburg (Germany) and Penang (Malaysia). The new COO has a degree in physics and started his career as a process engineer for lithography in Siemens AG’s semiconductor memories division. He also had various positions at Infineon Technologies, Qimonda, and Texas Instruments. Osram Opto Semiconductor CEO Aldo Kamper attributes a broad range of expertise to his new COO, including product development, marketing, logistics, quality, and finance.
