Capgemini has closed its acquisition of Cloud4C, a provider of automation-led managed services spanning hybrid, private, public, and sovereign cloud environments. With 1,600 employees joining the Group, the deal boosts Capgemini’s reach in cloud operations, AI-driven automation, and enterprise migration services.
This move highlights growing investment in AI-enabled cloud operations and industry-specific managed services — key areas influencing European digital transformation strategies and cloud sovereignty initiatives.
Strengthening cloud operations and SAP services
Cloud4C’s platform-based services and automation capabilities will be integrated into Capgemini’s cloud managed services portfolio. The acquisition supports the Group’s development of packaged cloud frameworks, intellectual property, and generative AI (genAI) solutions designed to simplify and scale enterprise cloud adoption.
Capgemini says the addition also accelerates its SAP leadership, especially for end-to-end SAP services and SAP RISE deployments. According to the company, Cloud4C’s SAP AI-driven cloud management will combine with Syniti’s data expertise to enhance migration, modernization, and lifecycle support for global enterprise clients.
“Most global clients require managed services for hybrid cloud environments or need help with their complex migrations. Cloud4C’s set of comprehensive service offerings built on deep tech proficiency, with hyper-automated cloud operations across the stack, will bolster the Group’s leadership in this dynamic space,” said Aiman Ezzat, CEO of Capgemini. “Our combined strengths will enable the Group to address growing client demand for gen AI-powered cloud automation platforms coupled with scalable industry-specific solutions to help enterprises achieve tangible business value. I am looking forward to welcoming the Cloud4C team to Capgemini.”
Cloud4C expands global access and capabilities
Sridhar Pinnapureddy, Non-executive Chairman of Cloud4C, said, “We are immensely proud to embark on this significant new chapter, aligning Cloud4C with a global powerhouse like Capgemini. Our complementary services and skills will allow a smooth integration enabling our respective clients to quickly access new and augmented cloud managed services. And for the Cloud4C team members they now have the exciting prospect of working on cutting-edge projects for major brands across the globe. The sky is the limit!”
Cloud4C, whose offerings include hybrid cloud sovereignty support, automation, disaster recovery, data protection, compliance and cybersecurity, was first announced as an acquisition target on August 26, 2025.
