FRIWO releases new all-purpose 250-W power supply module
The 5 V output can be used as remote control switch for the main output, thus avoiding mains wiring across the device. The OF250 offers universal mounting spots with M4 screw sockets in the bottom plate and on both sides. The electronics is current and voltage limited, as well as short circuit proof. Power failure, and "power good" signalling are displayed per TTL level. A power correction for voltage drops on the output line is also available.
The external dimensions of the OF250 read 155 x 101 x 40 mm (L x W x H), and it weighs 580 grams. Due to an input voltage range of 90 to 264 VAC, the power supply can be used worldwide. With an idle power consumption of ≤ 1.0 W and a power factor of ≥ 0.97, the OF250 works efficiently. At 230 VAC and full load an efficiency of 93% is achieved. Purely convection cooled, i.e. without fan, the OF250 can be operated at an ambient temperature of 0 to 70°C. The patient leakage current of ≤ 100µA is quite low and offers plenty of options.
OF250 is certified in accordance with EN60950 (IT, office and telecommunication), EN60601 3rd edition (medical applications) as well as EN61558 for household appliances.
