Fujitsu Semiconductor achieves SPICE level 2 for automotive software development process
Scope of the assessment was the Automotive SPICE HIS Scope, excluding ACQ.4 Supplier Monitoring, which is available in the process landscape of Fujitsu Semiconductor Europe, but which was not applied within the project assessed. The assessment was performed by Method Park, a Germany-based partner for development processes with focus on the automotive domain.
Accordiung to Fujitsu Semiconductor Europe, the assessment showed that the company’s software development organization of is able to develop products using capable processes. "The organization seems to be well prepared to also reach level 3”, said Holger Höhn who oversaw the ISO/IEC 15504 certification process.
Fujitsu Semiconductor’s system approach strategy is also supported by Fujitsu Embedded Solutions Austria (FEAT), providing software solutions tailored to customers’ needs in areas such as automotive HMIs or cluster applications.
