Get innovative with ON Semiconductor development kit challenge
element14 and Hackster.io community members being challenged to create a design centred around the ON Semiconductor RSL10 Sensor Development Kit (RSL10-SENSE-GEVK). The dev kit is a small and fully featured platform for the development of IoT applications with leading sensor technology and the industry’s lowest power Bluetooth low energy SoC. It has a full range of sensors including environmental, inertial (3-axis accelerometer, 3-asix gyroscope and a low-power smart hub for motion sensing), a geomagnetic sensor, and an ambient light sensor. Additional sensors can be added and controlled by the RSL10 Sense and Control app.
Applications are invited for “ThinkON” until October 11. On October 18, up to 50 challengers will selected to receive the ON Semiconductor RSL10 Sensor Development Kit. The challengers will have until January 1st to build the projects, and submit at least one blog post.
Winners will be announced and prizes shipped on February 1. The overall winner will receive a Lulzbot Mini 2 Desktop 3D Printer, with further prizes awarded for the best entry in each of 3 categories: the best entry in Wearables or Heathcare will receive an HTC VIVE Pro Virtual Reality System and the best entries in Safety or Asset Monitoring and Smart Home will both receive an Apple iPad Pro (12.9Inch).
