Robert is one of the many speakers at the RISC-V conference at the Embedded World 2019 in Nuremberg. Taking the first step into this new and exciting world of Open ISA can be confusing, but the people who did are not complaining. Steering away from a controlled and IP protected silicon world will promise a interesting venture and possible a profitable. eeNews met Robert last year at the RISC-V workshop in Barcelona and he explained the big gap between hardware and software developments – a gap that can be bridged with many solutions coming forward out to the RISC-V ecosystem.
