GlobalPlatform announces support for SESIP methodology
The support is an attempt to bring consistency and trust to the IoT device security certification process while reducing complexity, costs and time to market.
GlobalPlatform’s support will help certification bodies to set up certification schemes based on SESIP methodology and align them with laboratories, which will drive consistency in product evaluations and certifications across the IoT ecosystem. Device makers will be able to work with GlobalPlatform to ensure readiness to achieve certification in line with any schemes using SESIP.
