GoT actor Dinklage delivers Cisco smart network message
Introduced in June as ushering in a “new era in networking,” Cisco’s new network uses “intent-based technologies” that constantly learn, adapt, and protect against threats in a rapidly changing technology environment. The new marketing video features Dinklage – who plays Tyrion Lannister in HBO’s Game of Thrones series – walking through locations in London delivering that message in an understandable, albeit somewhat sober, way:
“To help businesses understand what Cisco’s network makes possible, they need to hear about these innovations in a simple and relatable way,” says Karen Walker, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Cisco. “Peter Dinklage is the perfect messenger because of his global fame and ability to speak in a bold, intelligent, and captivating way. As he wanders through the streets of London, you hang on to each of his words as he describes just how simple – and monumental – the new network is.”
The new “The Network. Intuitive.” campaign is digital and mobile, and running online and across social platforms.
