Grapeboard development board now available at Arrow

The Grapeboard development board is designed to allow developers create applications for secure connections. In 2018 year the board has been designed by the Scalys team in The Netherlands and is now available at Arrow. The board is a credit-card sized Secure Networking Communication Device, used in sensor gateways, communication hubs and secure edge devices. The Grapeboard is build around a single core 64-bit ARM™ Cortex®-A53 core/1GHz, has 1GB DDR3L (512Mx16) – (MT41K512M16), 512 Mbyte NOR Flash (MT25QU512ABB3E) and provides MicroSD support.

Other specifications like WiFi (b/g/n) & BT (4.0), PI+ header (I2C, UART, SPI SDHC), 2x USB 3.0, Packet Forwarding Engine (PFE), Cryptography acceleration (SEC) and a full set of security options like Secure Boot and Storage, Key Protection and Revocation, Secure Debug, Tamper Detection and Virtualisation & Strong Partitioning. The board is Microsoft Azure certified and supported by partners like NXP and Arrow.

The board is used in the TrustBox, an application also made by Scalys. The TrustBox, a high-grade security router designed and developed in The Netherlands, has won the ‘Best of Innovation Award’ in the category Cybersecurity & Personal Privacy by the organisation of CES, 2019. The Trustbox for consumer applications will become available in Q1 of 2019, the industrial version is expected in Q2/2019.
