Graphene FETs for biosensing available from online store
Graphene device manufacturer Paragraf Ltd. (Somersham, England) has created an online sales portal and is selling GFET-PV01 transistors with four in a pack for £364.
The GFET-PV01 is a monolayer graphene electrochemical sensor suitable for biology and life science applications and comes with epoxy encapsulation layer allowing consistent liquid handling and alignment during sensor modification and test.
The Paragraf GFET-PV01 is an electrolyte-gated FET, produced with a proprietary technique for depositing graphene directly on the device substrate with no transfer processing required. This delivers graphene channels free from polymers, foreign molecules or other defects. The GFET-PV01 is designed to enable a homogeneous electric field during operation. A central gate electrode is surrounded by three graphene channels, equidistant from the gate. The positioning of the channels enables consistent measurement and reliable manual or automated functionalisation of each channel for multiplexing and/or internal referencing.
Mark Davis, director of biosensors at Paragraf, said the company can produce high volumes of GFETs every month using its internal manufacturing capability.
Paragraf’s GFET-PV01 is available for purchase from https://store.paragraf.com/. Paragraf also sells a PIG breakout board for pairing GFETs with a data acquisition system for £72.
