Green Hills tool certified for functional safety
According to the certificates, the tool chain meets the requirements of ISO 26262:2011 for automotive environments, EN 50128:2011 for railways and IEC 61508:2010 for industrial applications. The IDE is thus qualified to be used in applications according to the Safety Integrity Level (SIL) 4 and Automotive Safety Integrity Level (ASIL) D – both describe the highest safety requirements.
According to TÜV Nord, the tool chain from Green Hills is the industry’s first commercial off-the-shelf offering addressing the challenging requirements for a broad set of target microprocessors.
The MULTI IDE offers integrated multicore development, debug and programming tools, including AUTOSAR operating system awareness, flash programming for on-chip flash, performance profiler, project builder, code coverage, run-time error checking, MISRA C adherence wizard, and the DoubleCheck integrated static code analyzer.
