Grenoble sensor startup gains Honeywell design win

The company claims its Foxberry and Cranberry non-dispersive IR gas sensors offer the lowest energy consumption on the market.

The company was founded in 2014 by managers who had previously formed Movea SA (Grenoble, France) and sold it to InvenSense. The eLichens team was developed optical MEMS technology for measuring air quality.

In May 2018 the company announced it had raised a €7 million in equity funding to follow on from a first funding worth more than €4 million in July 2016.
