AWT Global’s UBA 9290 covers the frequency range 100kHz to 2.9GHz and has a sensitivity of -117dBm, which means it is capable of detecting and analysing even weak RF signals. Waveforms are shown on the 320×240 pixel TFT colour display, while dual markers allow the user to read out absolute amplitude and frequency as well as delta values. Up to 100 waveforms or settings can be stored in the unit’s memory.
As the UBA 9290 supports high-speed USB, measurement data can be transferred to a PC for further analysis, and the instrument can also be controlled from the computer using the software supplied. Other built-in features include a frequency counter for measurements from 9MHz to 2.1GHz and an attenuator offering 10, 20, 30 and 35dB settings. The 82x205x36mm instrument weighs less than 400g.
