Hi-rel diode and thyristor rectifier modules, in distribution
The new 60Pak modules in a 60 mm industrial standard package are characterized by extremely low losses even at very high operating temperatures. Maximum reliability is ensured by precision pressure contacts and the insulated base plate made of AlN ceramic.
Typical applications of the diode modules are unregulated mains frequency bridge arms in medium voltage drives, input rectifiers in AC/AC converters and DC power supplies for applications such as industrial and renewable energy. The thyristor modules are ideal for use in AC soft starters and variable speed drives in industrial and renewable energy applications.
The internal circuitry of the modules consists of a half-bridge with different configurations of diodes and thyristors (DD, DT, TT, TD), with thyristors up to 1800V and diodes from 1800V to 6000V reverse voltage. The rated currents of the module variants are in the range of 480A to 890A.
