With accuracy of ΔT = ± 0.1C, the sensor features increased intelligence and reliability. Its function set includes enhanced signal processing, two distinct and user-selectable I2C addresses and communication speeds of up to 1 MHz. The DFN package measures 2.5 x 2.5 x 0.9 mm and its supply voltage range is 2.4 V to 5.5 V. The STS35 includes a configurable alert function, allowing it to be used as a temperature watchdog. It is based on Sensirion’s CMOSens technology that integrates the sensing element and read-out electronics onto a single chip.
