High current power inductors offer low DCR specifications
HCM series inductors are rated for a high maximum operating temperature of 125°C. The core is made from powdered iron material and is magnetically shielded for low EMI. The components benefit from a high current carrying capacity and low DCR specifications.
HCM0503 series inductors feature a 5.5 x 5.3 x 3.0 mm maximum surface mount package, an inductance range from 0.20 μH to 1.0 μH, a current range from 8.5 to 22.2Amps and a frequency range up to 1 MHz. The devices are halogen free, lead free, and fully RoHS compliant.
HCM0703 series inductors offer a 7.4 x 7.0 x 3.0 mm maximum surface mount package, an inductance range from 0.15 μH to 10.0 μH, a current range from 3.2 to 52 Amps and a frequency range up to 5 MHz. The components are halogen free and fully RoHS compliant.
HCM1103 series inductors feature a 11.5 x 10.3 x 3.0 mm maximum surface mount package, an inductance range from 0.12 μH to 22.0 μH and a current range from 3.0 to 75 amps. The inductors are halogen free, lead free and fully RoHS compliant.
Target applications for the new range of high current power inductors are voltage regulator modules (VRMs), multi-phase regulators, point-of-load modules, desktop and server VRMs and EVRDs, base station equipment, notebook regulators, battery power systems, graphic cards, and data networking and storage systems.
