High efficiency mini power supplies focus on home automation applications
The 3 Watt AC/DC power supply with an efficiency of up to 78% is available from distributor Rutronik.
With a wide input voltage range of 85 to 305 VAC, the mini power supplies can be used worldwide. With output voltages of 3.3, 5, 12 or 24 VDC, currents from 900 mA to 125 mA are available. The modules have a 3 kVAC isolated output and operate reliably in ambient temperatures up to +85°C. With a stand-by power consumption of only 40 mW, the RAC03-SCR/277 is particularly energy-saving and consumes less than a twelfth of the requirements of the EuP directive. The whole RAC03-SCR series is CE marked and UL certified.
Due to their round and flat shape, the 11 mm thick disks can be implemented simply and quickly, for example behind switch-plates or within wall boxes. The devices provide DC as it is required for ‘SmartHome’ – applications. The series is ideal for the use in home and office as well as for a variety of applications in building automation, security systems and communication systems.
